Elucidations draws on descriptive passages taken from philosophical and scientific texts to create statements that resemble moments in the history of conceptual art. The decision of what texts to use were determined by No Shortcuts, a work in which I read book a book until I hit a reference to another book, at which point I began reading that book. The resulting images and object document an attempts to verify and understand difficult concepts encountered while readings.
