Wild Turkey Trap, 2009

While in residence at the For-Site Foundation in the Sierra foothills, I created a trap for wild turkeys. The structure was inspired by surrounding site-specific sculptural projects. I borrowed design elements from minimalist sculpture and land art in the creation of an aesthetic object, that also functioned as a trap for wild turkeys that inhabit the area.
